About the makers:

Eddison & Melrose - English chef Karen Anne Murray, born in the West Midlands created Eddison & Melrose (her parents middle names) in 2001. Karen completed her chef training at the young age of 18 in England.

Always a fan of tea time, Karen decided to make her niche in catering English Afternoon Tea, and opened her quaint flagship tea shop in Monterey, CA in 2009, Eddison & Melrose. After almost 8 years at the well loved Monterey Tea Room, Eddison & Melrose moved to Pacific Grove in the summer of 2017 and there Oats n Scones take out bakery opened its doors in September 2017. A bakery filled with Karen’s tea room favorites, slow roasted oats and loose leaf teas… a perfect spot to stop, shop and treat you and yours.Today Eddison & Melrose Tea Room serves locals and travelers from near and far. Karen’s friendly and genuine English hospitality is returned ten fold, as ecstatic customers delight in the joy of English Tea Time…

Heritage Chocolates Corralitos are a family owned and operated chocolatier. They learned their chocolate making process from their late father, who never sold a piece of chocolate, only made it to give away to friends and family. We enjoyed pairing their chocolates with wine from Comanche Cellars, Puma Road and Pierce Ranch Vineyards on our Old Monterey and Local Seafood Tours.

Alma Superfoods - Nut Butters from Alma Superfoods are carefully ground at low temperature and blended with flavorful ingredients in small batches, lightly sweetened and full of flavor.

Did you know that Cacao is a well known superfood considered by the Mayan culture to be the "Food of the Gods?" Cacao has been enjoyed in the tropics of North and South America for thousands of years.

Schoch Family Farmstead - The only Monterey Jack cheese made in Monterey County! A more robust version of industrial Jack cheese, this Monterey Farmstead Jack from Schoch Family Farmstead, derived from fresh raw milk, has a lactic quality that reflects its farmstead origins – rugged yet complex, with flavors that continue to speak to you after every bite.  It is aged 4 to 6 months in small, hand-crafted batches, with a natural rind.  This is one of the few truly American cheeses! Comanche Cellars - What started as a love affair with wine turned into a passion for producing small lots of very handcrafted wines from neighboring vineyards for Michael Simons.  His tiny (1,800 cases) winery is named after Comanche, his horse when he was ten years old. He was an important part of a young life, and he uses his name as a loving tribute to this old friend. He still thinks of Comanche often, and is proud that his name and shoes are on every bottle of Comanche wine.
